In 1998 Max moved to London, where lived for five years, until october 2003. During this period, that we could simply call "the English years", Max joined the London Mod-60s Scene, started to go to many parties, especially those organized by the New Untouchables. A constant, stimulating source of inspiration came out from the Scene itself, as Max felt more involved with London Mods and the lifestyle. His works from these years reflect very much frames of London mod life and places, turning into an exciting portrait of the Scene, thanks to some exhibitions in London and in the Bromley area.
